Once considered “a most disobedient grape” during its brief stay in Burgundy, Gamay was banished south, to the poorer region of Beaujolais. With time, this proved to be a more favorable environment for the, once less respected varietal. Come explore the history and evolution of this region, from its light, juicy everyday sippers, to the more serious and structured wines of Beaujolais’ crus. Tickets are $10 with a $5 credit toward featured wines.
